2000 years of Celtic art and design, handed down over generations inspired Higgins and Company, to create these Keltic hand-tufted and hand-embossed wool area rugs and wall hangings which are sold today throughout the world . Each piece owes its origins to the designs of the ancient Celts, who have passed on their art to us, primarily through great Irish manuscripts such as the 8th century Book of Kells, which can be seen in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
